1. Who operates this site
Grey Structure Calculator publishes construction-planning calculators and guides at greystructurecalc.com. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to contact@greystructurecalc.com.
2. What happens when you use a calculator

Do not place confidential client names, addresses or commercially sensitive details into shared URLs or exported filenames.
3. Contact information
The contact form does not post information to a website database. It prepares a draft in your email application. If you send the email, your name, email address, message and any attachments are processed by your email provider and the recipient's email service.
Do not send identity documents, payment details, confidential drawings or information you are not authorized to disclose.
4. Hosting and security records
Like most websites, the hosting and network providers that deliver the site may process technical records such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information, response status and security events. These records support delivery, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Their retention and international processing depend on the provider's operational and legal requirements.
5. Analytics
The standard Google Analytics tag is configured to load asynchronously on published pages. The site's custom event design excludes exact project area, estimated cost, contact fields and message content. Google may process page, device, cookie and usage information under its own terms and consent settings.
6. Advertising
The site identifies its Google AdSense publisher account, publishes an ads.txt record and includes responsive ad placements after calculators and within substantive guides. Navigation, policy, contact and error pages do not contain ad placements. The advertising script is requested when an eligible placement approaches the viewport. Google and its partners may process device, cookie, advertising and usage information under their own policies and applicable consent choices.

7. Cookies and local storage
Saved estimates use local storage, which is similar to a persistent browser preference but is not transmitted by the browser with every web request. Analytics and advertising services may use cookies or similar identifiers according to their configuration and applicable consent choices. 8. Why information may be used
Information actually received may be used to respond to a message, correct content, investigate a calculation, maintain security, comply with law, establish or defend legal claims, and improve the site. We do not sell contact details as a mailing list.
9. Sharing
Information may be handled by hosting, network, email, security or professional service providers only as needed for their service. It may also be disclosed when reasonably required by law, legal process, safety, fraud prevention or protection of rights. A future transfer of the site may include necessary operational records subject to applicable law.
10. Retention and deletion
You control calculator records saved in local storage and can delete them through the saved-estimate controls or browser storage settings. Email correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer, document corrections, manage disputes, maintain security or meet legal obligations. Hosting logs follow provider settings and operational needs.
11. Security
The site uses HTTPS and security-focused browser headers where supported by the host. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not necessary for the request.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask whether personal information about you is held and request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Requests should be sent to contact@greystructurecalc.com; reasonable verification may be required.
13. Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly request their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent personal information can request review and deletion.
14. External links
Guides link to official bodies and other external resources. Their privacy and security practices are controlled by those organizations. Review the destination before providing information.
15. Policy changes
This policy will be revised when site data practices materially change. The date changes only when the text or practice changes, not merely to appear current.
